Dr. Plumby’s passion for orthopedics is rooted in his own history on the field. Before becoming a doctor, he was a Division I linebacker for Lafayette College, where he was a three-year letter winner and named Linebacker MVP during his 2007 championship season.

He didn’t jump straight into medicine, however. He spent time as a teacher and a football and track coach at Linsly School, giving him a deep appreciation for mentorship and education.
